Your membership dues support you (monthly newsletters, low or no cost MCLE) and your community, including Legal Services of Northern California, Capital Pro Bono, the PCBA Scholarship Program, the Placer County Superior Court Family Law Mediation Program and annual awards promoting the legal profession.

Log onto our website as a member, select "Edit Your Profile" - to the right of "Membership Details" is an option to "Renew" your membership, allowing you to generate an invoice you can pay online or print out and send in with your check. Be sure to check your profile details (address, phone, fax, email) and make sure the information is current.

Can't remember your password? Select "forgot password" to have the system email you a new, temporary password to log in. Be sure to change your password after logging in using the temporary password.

1 - Attorney - $175.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st

2 - Judge/Commissioner - Variable Subscription period: Unlimited Under the bylaws, Judges are Honorary Members and pay no membership fees, only the actual cost of dinners and other events.

3 - Affiliate - $100.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st
Your membership renewal date will be: Thursday, January 01, 2026 No automatically recurring payments An Affiliate Member is a non-lawyer professional, and shall pay actual costs and receive same discounts as Associate Members.

4 - Associate - Variable Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st
Your membership renewal date will be: Thursday, January 01, 2026 No automatically recurring payments An Associate Member is a second- or third-year law student, or a person who has completed law school but has not yet passed the bar. This level of membership is limited to two years post-graduation. After that time, if you have not take the bar exam or have not been admitted, you can change your membership level to Affiliate. Members shall pay the actual cost of dinners and other events. Associate members can also attend out Annual MCLE Mountain Retreat at a reduced price.

Attorney - First Year only - Variable Subscription period: Unlimited This level is only for attorneys who have been practicing for less than 12 months from the date of State Bar License issuance.

Attorney-Governmental or Non-Profit - $140.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st
Your membership renewal date will be: Thursday, January 01, 2026 No automatically recurring payments This level is for all governmental (City, County, State agencies) and all non-profit legal organizations (e.g., legal aid organizations)
