Modifying and/or decanting trusts can be a very powerful tool in the practitioner’s tool box to use in many circumstances such as: resolving ambiguities or unclear documents, correcting drafting errors, mending a variety of tax problems (including GST), resolving litigation and reworking tainted transactions, to name a few. The speaker will fully discuss these various issues.  Unfortunately, the Service has not fully embraced the ever-broader state provisions that continue to unfold allowing full use of these valuable and available legal remedies.  Hence, Ms. Klomparens' discussion will include where the pitfalls lie and how to try and avoid them in using various techniques

We are excited to be able to bring this presentation to you IN-PERSON.  This lunch will be held at Pete's Restaurant and Brewhouse located at the corner of Roseville Parkway and Douglas Blvd., in Roseville.  Seating is limited to 25 attendees.  Registration closes on February 12, so sign up now.
