PWL Speed Networking Happy Hour

Join the PCBA Women Lawyers section for an evening of new connections and lively conversation with fellow lady lawyers in Placer County!Bring your business cards, your most effective elevator speech and curiosity for your next great business connection.  PWL is excited to hold this speed networking happy hour on October 18.

Appetizers and a quick-paced, high reward night of meeting fellow attorneys and affiliates.  Cost includes one glass of beer, wine or non-alcoholic beverage.

This event will be held “speed networking” style so that everyone gets an opportunity to meet as many other participants as time will allow.  Whether you’re seeking to meet a potential mentor or mentee, or are just looking to expand your network, you are sure to meet a fabulous community of women in law!

It is important for individuals to know not only about their colleagues’ evolving practices but also their passions and pursuits outside the practice of law. Opportunities for referrals can come from knowing about common interests, hobbies and passions that have little to do with practice experience or expertise. Be ready to share something from your bucket list, a guilty pleasure, your first music concert, your dream job, and other personal stories during our speed networking.

Below is the schedule for this event:

5:30 Registration, refreshments, and casual networking

5:45 – 6:45 Speed Networking

6:45 – 7:00 Panel discussion on ways to address marketing and business development at the intersection of procrastination, burnout, imposter syndrome, and work/life balance; Closing remarks.

Cost: $25.  If you are not yet a member of the PWL, there will be a sign-up sheet available.  Enjoy some heavy apps; 1 drink ticket included.  Additional drinks at no-host option
